How do you retrieve a forgotten password on a computer? Like on a network?

We need to change the name of folders and delete some, but need the network password, and it's with the old computer guy who's nowhere to be found....anybody know how to do it??How do you retrieve a forgotten password on a computer? Like on a network?
An admin can change the password via Active Directory where the account is created and managed.



Start %26gt; Run %26gt; MMC (enter) %26gt; File Add/Remove Snap In %26gt; Add %26gt; Users and Computers



Once the console loads the domain controller, right-click and choose find. Look him up by user name to name. Then right-click, change password. You may need to allow 15 minutes for the password to become effective (replicate)
