well it is simple
go to start %26gt; run %26gt; type cmd
in black box type %26gt; ipconfig and then enter
you will get default gateway something like
192.168.xx.xx
xx.xx are some numbers u will get
now note down the default gate way number .
open internet explorer type
http://192.168.xx.xx
in above xx.xx are number u get from default gate way
it will take you to the routers configuration page where you can change the name of your network to anything you want .
under wirless setup option
look for the field called SSID
beside ssid type then name and this name will be displayed to all others as a network name .

You need to contact the internet provider and have your new router network protocols set up.
